Fresnel rhomb retarders
Fresnel rhomb retarders act like broadband waveplates providing uniform l/4 or l/2 retardance over a wilder range of wavelengths.
Because the phase shift is a function of slowly varying rhomb dispersion,
the retardance change with wavelength is much lower than other types
of retarders.
